October Tryout Schedule Is Set

Boys 11s–14s will be evaluated over two days at the Milwaukee Sting Center. Players are strongly encouraged to attend both Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 so our staff can complete the most thorough evaluation possible.

Check-in opens 45 minutes before each tryout session.

Final team structures, schedules and tournament plans will be added as they are confirmed. For now, these age ranges describe the developmental priorities of the Boys Program.

U11–U12

Foundation & Confidence

Young athletes develop movement skills, ball control, serving, attacking foundations, teamwork and a strong understanding of the game.

U13–U14

Skill Expansion & Scholastic Preparation

Players build complete technical skills, begin more focused positional development and prepare to contribute within school programs.

U15–U16

Advanced Development & Competition

Athletes train at a faster pace, deepen position-specific skill, improve tactical awareness and compete in more demanding environments.

U17–U18

Performance & College Preparation

All Milwaukee Sting Boys club practices are held at the Milwaukee Sting Center.

Boys 11s & 12s Monday & Wednesday

5:10–7:10 PM

Boys 13s & 14s Tuesday & Thursday

5:10–7:10 PM

Boys 15s–18s Tuesday & Thursday

7:20–9:20 PM

Practice schedules are subject to adjustment. Once teams are formed, official Crossbar schedules and team communications should be considered the most current source.

Advanced Development

As athletes progress through the program, training becomes more position-specific, competition becomes more demanding and preparation increasingly supports high school impact and college opportunities.

October Tryout Times Are Official

Boys 11s & 13s will try out from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM and Boys 12s & 14s from 2:00–4:00 PM on both October 3 and October 4. Check-in opens 45 minutes before each session. Will every age group follow the same tournament schedule?

No. Tournament schedules, travel expectations and postseason plans may vary by age group and team. Final schedules will be shared once the program structure is complete.

Does Sting support boys interested in college volleyball?

Yes. Older athletes can receive support through training, competitive opportunities, recruiting resources and guidance as they explore college volleyball.

Where will practices be held?

All Milwaukee Sting club practices are held at the Milwaukee Sting Center. Once teams are finalized, families will receive their practice schedule through Crossbar, and the official Crossbar schedule should always be considered the most current source for practice dates, times, and any schedule updates.
