Rather than forcing the Boys Program into formal divisions that may not fit how you operate, this page organizes information by age group and developmental stage.

11s–12s

Build strong technical foundations, confidence, movement skills, teamwork and an understanding of the game.

13s–14s

Expand complete volleyball skills, increase positional development and prepare athletes for school volleyball and national-level competition.

15s–16s

Train at a faster pace, develop advanced position-specific skills and compete in demanding regional and national environments.

17s–18s

Prepare athletes for leadership, high-level competition, recruiting opportunities and the transition to collegiate volleyball.

Older Boys Program

15s–18s

Program Overview

Teams in the older Boys Program train and compete in an environment designed to prepare athletes for high-level high school volleyball, demanding national competition and potential college opportunities.

Season Length: 18-1, 18-2, 17-1, 17-2, 16-1, 16-2, 15-1 and 15-2 are planned as full-season teams running November–July. The 17-3, 16-3 and 15-3 teams are shorter-season teams running November–March.

Middle Boys Program

13s–14s

Program Overview

The 13s and 14s continue building complete technical skills while increasing positional training, game understanding, competitiveness and the ability to perform in more demanding environments.

Younger Boys Program

Program Overview

The younger Boys Program is designed to establish strong technical habits, improve coordination and volleyball understanding, and give athletes a positive competitive environment in which to grow.

More Than Team Practices

The Milwaukee Sting Boys program follows the same overall development model and program-feature philosophy used throughout Milwaukee Sting, with training opportunities designed to support athletes beyond regular team practices.

Team TrainingTwo scheduled team practices each week at the Milwaukee Sting Center.
Position DevelopmentAdditional position-specific instruction and development opportunities throughout the club season.
Athlete PerformanceAccess to Milwaukee Sting's athlete-development resources and performance programming as applicable to the program.
Competitive ScheduleCompetition schedules are built around each team's age, level, season length and developmental goals.
Recruiting ResourcesOlder athletes can access Milwaukee Sting recruiting resources as they explore opportunities to play at the collegiate level.
Sting Training EnvironmentA connected training system designed to develop skills, volleyball IQ, competitiveness and strong team habits.
Program Inclusions: Specific inclusions may vary by age group and team. Final team information provided after tryouts should be considered the official description of each team's 2026–2027 program.

Uniforms

2026–2027 Uniform Information

Milwaukee Sting will continue its two-year uniform cycle for jerseys and shorts. The 2025–2026 season was Year 1 of the current uniform cycle, making 2026–2027 Year 2.

Returning Players

Returning players may continue using their current Milwaukee Sting jerseys and shorts. They only need to replace uniform pieces they no longer have or that no longer fit.

New Players

New Milwaukee Sting athletes will be required to purchase the current jerseys and shorts for the 2026–2027 season.

Ordering & Sizing

Uniforms are purchased separately from club dues directly through Milwaukee Sting's apparel vendor, WKP. Sizing and purchasing information will be provided after tryouts.

2026–2027 Weekly Training

All Milwaukee Sting Boys club practices are held at the Milwaukee Sting Center.

Boys 11s & 12s

Monday & Wednesday5:10–7:10 PM

Boys 13s & 14s

Tuesday & Thursday5:10–7:10 PM

Boys 15s–18s

Tuesday & Thursday7:20–9:20 PM
Practice schedules are subject to adjustment. Once teams are formed, official Crossbar schedules and team communications should be considered the most current source.
