MKE Sting Sets the Standard in 2026

The 2025–26 season was a landmark year for MKE Sting, highlighted by statewide dominance, national recognition and a championship finish on one of volleyball’s biggest stages.

VolleyLens ranked MKE Sting as the No. 1 girls volleyball club in Wisconsin, giving the organization a club score of 2,114 ... the highest in the state. Sting also earned 22 elite team designations across its 29 teams. Nationally, US Club Rankings placed Milwaukee Sting at No. 19 among the country’s top clubs, further confirming the program’s strength beyond Wisconsin.

That excellence was visible across nearly every age division. MKE Sting produced Wisconsin’s No. 1-ranked team at 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U and 18U. Six Sting teams also appeared among VolleyLens’ overall top 10 girls teams in the state, including the top six positions: 16-Gold, 17-Gold, 13-Gold, 15-Gold, 14-Black and 18-Gold. The club’s depth stood out as well, with multiple Gold, Black, White and Silver teams earning top-10 rankings in their respective age groups.

The season’s defining moment came at the 2026 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship in Indianapolis, where MKE Sting 17-Gold captured the 17 National title. The team defeated SA Elite in the quarterfinals and MN Select in the semifinals before overcoming NYC VBA in a three-set championship match, 25–18, 17–25, 15–11. MKE Sting 18-White added another strong national result by advancing to the 18 Liberty Gold quarterfinals in Reno and securing a top-eight finish.

From its youngest ranked teams to its national champions, MKE Sting demonstrated the talent, development and competitive consistency that define an elite club. The 2025–26 season was more than a collection of rankings—it was a club-wide statement, establishing MKE Sting as Wisconsin’s leading girls volleyball program and one of the nation’s programs to watch.
