Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club is proud to partner with the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network to provide our athletes with a licensed athletic trainer at our Milwaukee Sting Center.
Athletic trainers (ATs) are highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. An athletic trainer from the Froedtert & MCW sports medicine team attends all home tournaments, in addition to weekly athletic training facility hours.
Our club’s athletic trainer is Hannah Koraly. She is originally from Charlotte, NC. Hannah graduated from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in May, 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. After graduation, she worked as the assistant and then the head athletic trainer at St George’s Independent School in Memphis, TN. In 2015, Hannah moved to Arlington, VA to pursue a graduate degree in Exercise, Fitness and Health Promotion at George Mason University. After completing the two-year program, she moved to Milwaukee, WI.
If your son or daughter sustains a sports-related injury, they may visit the athletic training facility at no charge (located in the Milwaukee Sting Center). Hannah does an excellent job of assessing the situation and recommending treatment. She works closely with our coaching staff to ensure top care in preventing, diagnosing and treating sports injuries.
In addition to the weekly hours at the Sting Facility, Milwaukee Sting athletes’ parents can also contact a Froedtert & MCW licensed athletic trainer through the Healthy Roster app on your phone (free of charge).
